OFX Plugin for DaVinci Resolve by MrAlexTech
Zooms, simplified.
Zoom in on anything, right on the preview. Pick the spot, set how far, and MagicZoom glides in and back out with proper motion blur. Point it at a face and it follows them round the frame. No keyframes, no fiddling in the Inspector. Fully GPU accelerated, so it plays in real time, even at 4K 60. Easy, fast and intuitive.
Free 7-day trial. Needs DaVinci Resolve 21 or later, Free or Studio, on Windows or Mac. Real-time performance depends on your system.
Face Tracking
Pick a face on the preview and the zoom stays locked on as they move round the frame. No keyframes, no tracker.

Alt+click a face on the preview and the zoom follows it, frame by frame.
More than one person in shot? Hold Alt to see a box on every face, then Alt+click the one you want. It stays on them rather than jumping to someone else.
Every point can follow a face or stay on a fixed spot. Switch any point with one click in its on-screen panel, and mix both in the same clip.
Each point can track a different person, so the zoom hands over from one speaker to the next.
Show Tracking draws the face box in the viewer only. It never ends up in your render.
It all runs on your own computer. No frame or face is ever uploaded, and it never identifies anyone.
What it does
MagicZoom moves the camera inside your shot. It comes as three effects, one for each move editors reach for most.
Zooms in on a point and back out, with motion blur. Add more points and it travels from one to the next. Each point can Zoom, Spotlight or Focus.
Punch-ins and pointing things out
One continuous move from a start framing to an end framing: position, zoom and rotation.
A slow push in or pull out
A magnifier window over your footage. The spot you pick is blown up inside the window while the rest of the picture stays put.
Showing a detail without losing the wide shot
MagicZoom
Set everything up on the preview. Click where, drag how far, done.

Ctrl+click the spot, Shift+drag to set how far. It zooms in, holds, then zooms back out. Simple.
Fully GPU accelerated on Windows and Mac. It plays in real time, even at 4K 60 (system dependent).
Add more points and the camera travels from one to the next, each with its own zoom, rotation and timing.
Every point sits on a timeline strip drawn over the preview. Drag to retime. On long clips, F1 zooms the strip to 30 or 10 seconds.
Punch in, magnify a shape or frame a region. Blur, darken or tint everything outside it.
Proper motion blur while the shot moves, so a fast zoom looks like a camera move, not a slide.
Styles
Every style changes how the zoom moves and what the picture does while it moves. Go on, click one.
Portal. A ring of fire and sparks, and the view inside twists open. On Pop Out, a second blue portal opens round the spot it zooms from: the entry and the exit.
Plus: Camcorder, Phone, Smooth, Tutorial, Animated, Photo, VHS, Enhance, Comic, Glitch, Operator, Magnifying Glass, Bubble, Callout and Polaroid.
Also included
The tools for showing people exactly what to look at, built into the same effects.

Draw shapes around anything to highlight it: a box, circle, arrow or highlight, in Clean, Marker, Sketch or Chalk. They can fade, draw on or pop in.
Create an inset at any point to show something else on screen while you're zoomed in: a region you pick, or the whole picture.
A magnifier window you park anywhere while the rest of the picture stays put. Up to three at once, with Magnifying Glass, Bubble, Portal, Callout and Polaroid styles.
One smooth push in or pull out across the whole clip. Set a start framing and an end framing, done.
Keep the shot alive while you're zoomed in: hold still, push in, pull out, drift or go handheld. Nine move shapes and eleven easing curves.
Adds real depth as the shot zooms, so the move feels like a camera travelling into the scene.
Keeps a sharp strip and softens everything else, for a proper macro, miniature look.
A gentle handheld wobble, for when a locked-off shot feels too clean.
